Rowlinsons Solicitors are proud to announce that their chosen Charity of the year is Williams Gift.
William’s Gift supports children and their families in hospital by providing care packages, particularly, but not limited to bowel and TPN patients.
A little bit of background on the Charity from Jane, William’s mother:
‘Our son William was born with a very rare disease which affected his entire bowel. (Total Intestinal Aganglionosis). In order for him to survive, he was ‘fed’ intravenously with Total Parenteral Nutrition (TPN). On 11th December 2019 William sadly passed away (aged 6) after developing complications.
William was our inspiration behind creating this charity. We spent many months in hospital over the 6 years and know how lonely and depressing it can be. The idea to provide care packages to children and their families in hospital with bowel and TPN related conditions was born out of our own experiences. William was known for his beautiful smile and this charity aims to cheer up other children in hospital with a ‘little box of smiles’
William’s gift primarily covers four local children’s hospitals (Alder Hey Children’s Hospital, Royal Manchester Children’s Hospital, Children’s Ward at Warrington Hospital and Tameside General Hospital).
Please follow us or William’s Gift for further announcements relating to our chosen Charity of the year along with some very exciting activities Rowlinsons will be involved with. We will be sharing links and a QR Code for anyone that would be kind enough to help raise funds.
We welcome and appreciate any support you can offer our chosen Charity’s fundraising efforts.
