Firm Shortlisted For National Award

Rowlinsons Solicitors has been shortlisted for the ‘Best Workplace Wellbeing’ award at the inaugural Modern Law Private Client Awards.

The award recognises law firms that demonstrate a strong commitment to providing and promoting a positive working environment and have implemented a long-term commitment to supporting the mental health of their staff.

Modern Law have organised awards in the legal sector for many years and launched the Private Client Awards in 2023 to specifically celebrate and champion the work being delivered across the Private Client industry. Private client work typically includes Will drafting, lasting powers of attorney, inheritance tax planning and estate administration.

Donna Eland, Director and Head of Private Client commented:

“To be shortlisted in this particular category is a testimony to the investment we have made into improving our workplace and bringing in a full time HR Manager last year to ensure we are providing our staff with the support they need.”

Haydn Roberts, HR Manager added:

“It’s great to see that the changes we’ve already put in place have been recognised at a national level. The COVID-19 pandemic pushed employee health and wellbeing to the top of the business agenda over the past few years. We believe that promoting wellbeing at work can help prevent stress and create a positive environment where people and business can flourish.”

The awards ceremony will be held on 5th July at The Rum Warehouse in Liverpool.
