Rowlinsons celebrates major success at the British Conveyancing Awards

Rowlinsons Solicitors enjoyed a standout evening at the British Conveyancing Awards 2026 after picking up multiple honours, including one of the most prestigious awards of the night.

The Cheshire based firm was named Conveyancing Firm of the Year North, while Tom Parkinson was recognised with the Partner of the Year award.

Rowlinsons was also Highly Commended for Commercial Property Team of the Year, recognising the strength of the firm’s wider property team.

The evening was capped off with the winning of the Conveyancing Excellence Award, widely regarded as the top award of the night. Unlike most categories, this award cannot be entered directly. Instead, it is given to the firm or individual that achieves the highest overall score across the awards judging process.

Judges assess performance across a range of criteria including technical legal expertise, innovation in client service and evidence of strong client satisfaction. The award recognises the organisation that has impressed the judging panel most across the whole conveyancing profession.

The success extended beyond the firm’s legal work. The Bricks & Banter podcast, hosted by Tom Parkinson and Laura Cartwright, was also Highly Commended in two categories: Property Commentator of the Year and Collaboration of the Year.

Bricks & Banter is a lighthearted property industry podcast which discusses issues affecting conveyancing and the wider property sector with guests from across the industry.

Speaking after the awards ceremony, Tom Parkinson said:

“Last night was a great result for everyone at Rowlinsons. Conveyancing is demanding and these awards recognise the effort the whole team puts in for our clients every day.

Winning Conveyancing Firm of the Year North and the Conveyancing Excellence Award is something we are incredibly proud of. The Excellence Award is especially meaningful because it recognises the firm that has stood out across all of the judging criteria.

I’m also personally honoured to have been named Partner of the Year. That recognition reflects the strength of the team around me and the support that I constantly receive from my co-directors.”

For Rowlinsons, the results mark an exceptional evening that highlights the strength of the firm’s property team and its commitment to delivering high quality legal services for clients across the region.
