The Cheshire based firm has made two senior appointments in newly created roles as they look to grow the practice and expand their in house management expertise.
Michelle Fisher has joined the Property Department as Conveyancing Manager. Michelle brings with her over 25 years of experience in residential property, having qualified as a Solicitor in 1999 and was most recently the Conveyancing Services Manager at a regional law firm. The role will see Michelle manage the day-to-day operations of Rowlinsons residential property team based in Sutton Weaver.
Tom Parkinson Director and Head of Property commented:
“We are thrilled to have Michelle onboard as she brings with her a high level of expertise in running a large conveyancing team and her experience means she has already hit the ground running. She is now the initial point of contact for any technical queries within the team and will also have a remit to look at where operational efficiency and client service can be improved throughout the conveyancing process.
This change in structure allows me to focus on the longer-term strategic direction of the department and to take a more proactive role in business development including my involvement with the Conveyancing Association, which represents some of the largest property firms in England and Wales. I’ve no doubt that Michelle will prove to be a real asset to the firm and I look forward to working with her.”
Rowlinsons have consistently been inside the top 200 conveyancing firms nationally, according to residential purchases registered each year at the Land Registry.
Michelle commented:
“It’s great to have joined such a forward-thinking business who have already invested heavily in their IT systems to support both staff and clients in the home moving journey. What makes Rowlinsons stand out is the ability to offer a high-quality service consistently, whilst still being able to deal with a large number of matters. One of the main things which drew me to the firm was their use of technology to improve their service to clients, especially the Rowlinsons dedicated conveyancing App. In addition, I was also impressed by their commitment to staff training and career progression”
Meanwhile, Haydn Roberts has joined as HR and Practice Manager and will have a wide range of responsibilities from all aspects of recruitment through to health and safety compliance. Haydn has studied CIPD Level 7 and is currently working towards his Chartered Status.
Andrew Graves, Managing Director commented:
“Haydn brings with him a new level of expertise on human resource management which will prove highly beneficial to the firm as we move forward. In addition to his CIPD qualifications, Haydn also studied the Legal Practice Course at the University of Law in Chester so he is a great fit for our business and is already putting in place new processes and procedures that are proving to be effective.”
Haydn added:
“It’s a great time to be joining the Rowlinsons team. The Directors are ambitious and open to new ideas and ways of working, which will be crucial in the competitive legal recruitment market. Legal services remain highly personal and it’s the quality of the staff we’re able to attract, retain and develop that will help set us apart from others.”
