Rowlinsons offer App to home movers as property market reopens for business

The property market is officially back in business from today following the Government’s announcement last night that Estate Agents can reopen, removal companies can go back to work and surveyors can undertake physical valuations if required.

Since restrictions on movement were implemented in March, an estimated 450,000 people have been unable to progress their plans to move house. All buyers and sellers will now be able to complete their transactions and we are ready to get people moving again in 2020 with the offer of our mobile App.

As house moves are still subject to strict social distancing guidelines, the use of our App allows our clients to move quickly and safely and avoid the need for face to face contact with our property team.

Tom Parkinson, Director and Head of Property at Rowlinsons commented:

“This is positive news for the whole of the housing market and particularly for the thousands of people who have been waiting to complete their move.

Our Property Department has continued to operate throughout the Government’s restrictions and the benefits of our recently launched mobile conveyancing app have shone through. The ability to send and receive documents as well as securely sign them within the app has meant we’ve been able to progress matters quickly and with minimal disruption.

The entire legal process of buying or selling property can be conducted without any need to visit our offices or meet face to face. Our free app can eliminate needless delays waiting for paperwork to be sent and returned, with clients able to see exactly where their matter is up to 24/7.”
